So we are coming down to AZ the week after Thanksgiving. Gregg has a job down there to justify us going and hopefully he can fly out of the airport there for a couple weeks for work. YAY! So I would love to see all of you guys when we go down there. What are your plans the beginning of December?
Oh and I just saw Twilight. I can't decide what I think about it, I guess I will just have to go see it again! What did you all think?

I Need Your Help!
So both boys went to bed early, Gregg is out of town for work, and I really should be cleaning the house, working on pictures I took Saturday, or getting to bed early. Whatever.... anyone who knows me knows I love to waste time! I've been playing around with Photoshop on what to do with my hair. I got a not-so-great highlighting job 2 months ago and my roots are horrid. I can't decide whether to darken my hair, re-highlight it, or go blonder. So here are a few scenarios and I want you to vote on which is your favorite. The one in the middle with the obvious roots is what I look like right now. I couldn't get the darker hair one to look good but you get the general idea. Is it weird that my favorite is the gray hair one? Maybe getting old won't be so bad.
By the way...is anyone else totally loving the Beyonce song "If I were a Boy"? Just wondering.

Hawaii and Halloween
So I am absolutely ticked off. I have been avoiding blogging like the plague and what happened tonight reassured my attitude. I have spent HOURS creating a post with lots of Hawaii pics and captions only to have it disappear in thin air! Arrrggghhhh!!!! So here is a quick post with a few Hawaii pics and Halloween thrown into one.
HALLOWEEN-
Our little Bumble Bee

Our Vampire
For those of you who know Weston know he is very anti-social, so Halloween terrified him and he lasted 6 houses before he was begging to go home. This pic below pretty much sums up how he was the whole night.

Oh well, maybe next year he will be better (I told myself that last year).
We spent 4 days in Oahu and 2 days on the Big Island. We didn't have too much planned since we had about 3 days notice that we were going. But who cares--- it's Hawaii! We did a lot of snorkeling and we found the best at the reefs at the Big Island. Those pics are on another CD and I don't have time right now to put them on here. They are just pics of some fish. sea turtles, and my pretty face in a swimsuit(yea, you won't miss much). We also went to the Polynesian Cultural Center. Those pics suck because it was raining, dark, and I used a disposable camera (not a good combination). But here are some of my other faves:

Volcano territory on the Big Island. Lots of black sand and rock.

One of our few pics together in front of the temple. It was pouring rain, look at that amazing hair!

Happy Birthday Cash!!!
Officially it was yesterday, but oh well. Happy Birthday little Cash! I can't believe it has been 1 year already. He is still not walking but is possibly the fastest crawler ever. He is starting to get a little attitide too, which is really cute for now.

Cali Trip-...this time No Kids!

We went to California for a much needed vacation. We got to spend a couple days at this resort in Mandalay Beach. It felt like we were somewhere exotic and there was hardly a soul there. Unfortunately it was so cold along the shore that we didn't even get in the water. We tried to sunbathe in our swimsuits but when Gregg realized I had goosebumps we decided to head for the spa instead. Welcome to California! Here's some pics of the cool resort:

This was the log ride. Gregg and I stayed pretty dry. Poor Dave had to ring his shorts out(but the fanny pack, I mean "man bag", stayed dry!).

The next day we were so sore and exhausted (at least I was, Carly and Dave hit the gym at like 4 in the morning). But it was fun and we had a good time with Carly and Dave... thanks for coming out... we miss you guys!!!!!!!!
Anyways, now it's back to reality. I did miss my boys but I am already wondering when our next Adult Only vacation should be. A cruise anyone??

Our Anniversary Getaway (with the kids of course!)
So it has been 8 years since we have been married!!!! Crazy--it's gone by so fast. We decided to spend a couple days in McCall, which is about 2 hours from Boise. It has a beautiful lake with sandy beaches, and is really warm for being up in the mountains. It was good to get out of the house (I have been dying to get away) and the boys did pretty good.

This hike lasted about 10 minutes before we got attacked by swarms of mosquitos. So we just spent most of the time on the beaches.

Our little water baby!! Cash loves the water and the sand. He reminds us of a little baby sea turtle because he would just crawl right straight into the lake. Weston hated the sand at his age. These kids couldn't be more opposite in almost every way!
Actually the boys favorite part of the trip was the hotel room- go figure. They thought it was so cool to crawl over the mattress that we put on the floor for Weston. Weston is one spoiled little boy- he got his very own hotel room to himself (the many perks of Gregg's job).So Happy Anniversary babe and thanks for 8 great years!

Busy July
It has been a busy month with lots of family and lots of fun. Here's a recap:

Gregg's cousin and his roommate drove from Provo to stay with us for the 4th to go kayaking and rafting. We stayed up way too late for the fireworks since they didn't even start until 11 pm. Cash was tired and whiny and poor Weston was so scared Gregg had to sit in the car with him the whole time. We may just skip fireworks next year.
Gregg's family stayed with us for a weekend for his sister Rockelle's softball games. It was nonstop with games, a barbeque, Grandma Darla's birthday, and lots of rafting.
Here we are getting ready to go down the Payette River. The first day was very interesting as we flipped our boat! You would think for as much as I have been rafting I would know better but it was only my second time on this river- so that's my excuse. It was just Gregg and I, his dad, and 2 younger sisters. We were light as a feather and we just got TOSSED!!!!! The second day we had Gregg's brother and brother-in-law with us so we had some serious manpower and extra weight.
This is the wave that flipped us end on end. But it looks so innocent doesn't it? It wasn't until after that first run that we learned it's called "Go Left" because you go left of it and avoid the hole. Huh... too bad we didn't know earlier, that info could have come in handy. Thankfully Gregg's sisters thought it was pretty cool to flip so noone was traumatized from the experience! (Thanks Lynette for lending us your boat!)
My parents have been up at our cabin in Garden Valley for the last couple weeks so we went and saw them for a few days. Weston loves to get pulled around in the wagon. Thanks mom for being a good sport!

Oh and I can garden!!!! It's amazing what good soil and weather will do. All the hard work has pulled off and I am now reaping the rewards! Cash of course loves the garden too and whatever may live in the dirt!

One of our frequent visits to the park. It's funny, I keep waiting for it to get really hot, I mean it's August for crying out loud, but then I came to the realization that were not in Phoenix anymore. The news today said the high in Boise was 92....... the high in Phoenix 113....... little reminders of why we moved here.
